The Founding Director of NGH Environmental, Nick has more than 25 years’ experience as an environmental practitioner. His drive and dedication to quality have seen NGH Environmental become a leader in the field of environmental consulting.
With a passion for renewable energy, Nick is now one of New South Wales’ most experienced consultants in the assessments of renewable energy projects.
As an accredited IAP2 practitioner (International Association for Public Participation accreditation), Nick knows that good community consultation is key to the success of any development or project. He utilises his extensive skills in negotiating, networking and presenting to build strong public engagement in planning processes.
Nick also has an in-depth knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth planning and environmental legislation, and a comprehensive understanding of development-related environmental impacts. Nick’s other areas of expertise include impact and biodiversity assessment and environmental management. He has overseen a wide range of projects, affecting diverse natural and constructed environments.
In 2011 Nick received the fellowship from the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (FEIANZ). This was awarded in recognition of his role as a leading environmental professional, committed to high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the areas of environmental impact assessment and management.
Natascha has worked in environmental management since 1992. She established our Sydney office and became a Director of NGH Environmental in 2006.
She has extensive experience in team management, with skills in training and in preparing and managing teams undertaking environmental impact assessments for large road, rail and water infrastructure projects.
Natascha has prepared a large number of environmental management plans, including weed management plans, flora and fauna management plans, and erosion and sediment control plans, for small and large civil construction projects in an array of different environments, both natural and built.
Natascha’s operational and planning experience has provided her with a thorough understanding of environmental planning and protection legislation and regulations. She manages a team that includes specialists in biodiversity, marine and aquatic environments, and construction. Natasha has worked in both the public and private sectors, holding senior management and policy roles. Her forte is environmental impact assessment and management.
She is a RABQSA certified Principal Environmental Auditor and has extensive auditing experience across a range of industries, with a focus on infrastructure.
Erwin has extensive experience in environmental planning and assessment, management and auditing and has been with NGH Environmental since 2007. He has an honours degree with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Environmental Engineering Management. He is an RABQSA Principal Environmental Auditor and a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP).
Erwin began his career as an ecologist, moving into environmental planning and assessment where he worked on a range of infrastructure projects, including in the road, rail, bulk water and energy sectors.
Erwin is NGH Environmental’s Practice Leader in Environmental Management. He has extensive experience providing clients with advice on compliance, conducting independent environmental audits, preparing and implementing environmental management plans, facilitating business sustainability by integrating practical environmental management strategies into existing business systems.
He has been the Independent Environmental Representative for major road, water and energy projects across NSW. He has been Principal Environmental Auditor on projects across the infrastructure, manufacturing, chemical and agricultural production sectors.
