Client: RMS, Narrabeen Bridge Duplication – Options Workshop, 2015

NGH participated in the Options Workshops and produced a report assessing the environmental impacts of each option to assist with determining the preferred option for concept design; this built upon the Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment prepared by NGH in 2015. The project involved duplication or widening of the Narrabeen Bridge to provide two new bus transit lanes with separated traffic movements, whilst providing for cyclists and pedestrians. Constraints included threatened species (aquatic and terrestrial), noise and vibration, traffic and pedestrian movements and open space use, and services, The final report was put on hold prior to going on exhibition early in 2016, due to a change in Government funding priorities.
